About Us
Bretni and Kimberly have worked together in the industry for almost 5 years. They grew very close as friends and also developed a strong professional relationship. When chatting one day, they both realized they shared the same passion for owning their own salon one day. When Bretni was trying to choose a name for this new and exciting business venture, her daughter Riah brought it to her attention that her name was hair spelled backwards! A giant lightbulb turned on and RIAH•HAIR was born. Coming from an advanced Loreal Professionnel background, both owners are confident and ready to make their dreams come true.

Bretni
Meet Bretni! The founder and co-owner of RIAH.HAIR. She is a Sun Prairie native who couldn’t wait to bring a high-end salon to her hometown. While she no longer works behind the chair, she is taking over the behind the scenes work that goes in to running the business. She has always had a passion for extensions, and continues to train the staff to make sure we are delivering the best possible work surrounding our Bellami Hair Extensions. Bretni has always loved the beauty industry and had dreams of opening her own salon one day to be able to share that passion with like-minded stylists. When she isn’t in the salon, you will find her spending time with her family, her two dogs, and enjoying the local restaurants.

Kimberly
Kimberly is one of the owners and has been doing hair since 2009. She has a passion for education and can curate that passion by coaching and growing the staff of RIAH.HAIR to be the amazing stylists they are. Kimberly is also a brand educator for Kerastase and gets to travel all over the country sharing her knowledge and love for the brand. Even though she is no longer accepting new clients, she continues her work behind the chair as well as helping to keep things on the business side running smoothly. She has trained at all 3 prestigious Loreal Professional Academies as well as taught for ghd hair tools brand. When she isn’t in the salon, or traveling for Kerastase, she spends her free time with her family. She really enjoys good food, and a good red wine!

Hannah S.
Hannah S. is a Janesville girl who has been with Riah Hair since August of 2020. After graduating from Viterbo University and working three years in the marketing field, Hannah decided she needed something more fulfilling and more her. Although Hannah has always been passionate about the beauty industry, two years working as the marketing director for a cosmetology school is what truly grew Hannah’s love for the industry even further.
After graduating from the Aveda Institute, Hannah found her spot here at Riah Hair! Hannah is passionate about making her clients look and feel their best. Although she loves all things behind the chair, she is particularly focused on dimensional blonding techniques and Bellami Extensions. When Hannah is not working behind the chair, she is spending time with her family and friends, her dog Frankie, and working on her golf game!

Liv
Liv joined the team in 2022 as an Aveda Institute Grad. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors, in the hot yoga studio, & being surrounded by good company! She is also a huge foodie so she loves exploring good, quality food that Madison has to offer!
When it comes to hair, her passion is lived in, natural colors. You can’t go wrong with a beautiful, chocolate brunette with some dimension or a buttery, blonde balayage! Additionally, she loves styling her clients with a classic 90s blowout or some wispy beach waves.
At the end of the day, it’s Liv’s goal to have her clients feeling beautiful & confident when they leave her chair.

Sarah is originally from the Madison area and has been in and out of the beauty industry for more than 10 years. Previously, she was a hairstylist for 3 years before taking a break to work towards a different career. However, she never lost her passion for the beauty industry! She loves working with naturally curly hair and teaching clients to embrace their textures. She is also certified in hair extensions and is excited to add that into her skillset. In addition, she provides lash extension services at the salon. Outside of the salon and lashing, Sarah loves to spend time with her significant other and dogs, Herb and Ron. She’s also a frequent gym go-er with a passion for weightlifting and body building competitions!

Beatrice is a northern Illinois girl who moved to Madison in recent years. She developed a love for hair and the beauty industry at an early age, which led her to a career in hair. Beatrice graduated from Regency Beauty Institute in 2012 and had been involved in the industry ever since. Lindsey has six years of experience in the fashion industry both in front of and behind the camera. She trained at the Aveda Institute in Madison and studied Retail at UW-Madison. She’s passionate about helping her clients elevate their personal style. Lindsey’s goal is to create your dream hair. Blending her attention to detail, style sense, and eye for upcoming trends with your hair goals, she aims to make the process as fun and easy as possible. Lindsey loves a blonde bombshell moment as much as a deep, rich color, and channels her inner artist as she hand-paints her clients’ hair. When she’s not behind the chair, Lindsey enjoys dinner dates with her boyfriend, going on adventures with their miniature dachshund Tito, evenings out, and cozy nights in.

Hailey is a fresh stylist with a burning passion for all things hair. Hailey graduated from the Aveda Institute of Madison in just 11 months because she was eager to get out of school and onto the floor doing what she loved most. Hailey has a passion for making each client look and feel beautiful. She also has a deep love for color and creating new looks. Hailey took advanced education while in school to help her get a leg up on all the current trends. Hailey strongly values her friends and family so you will find her spending quality time with them on her days off. Hailey also loves to bake and make homemade pizza. She can’t wait to create the perfect recipe for your hair!

Carlie started her beauty business endeavors in 2021 after graduating from Paul Mitchell. She has been working behind the chair for a couple of years now but has decided to join the RIAH.HAIR team to continue her journey! She loves to do dimensional colors and blonding, but is also very comfortable with men’s cutting. One of her favorite parts of this career is meeting new people and having great conversations. It is very important to Carlie to build lasting relationships with everyone who sits in her chair. When she isn’t in the salon, you can find her spending time with her family and friends, reading a good book, or going on walks through her neighborhood. You might also find her cozied up with her cat Bella, her boyfriend, and watching the Real Housewives!
